What you need for this position:

- Minimum Five years underwriting experience required
- Knowledge of DU/LP/Zippy
- Minimum of 2 years of contract underwriting experience
- Direct experience in Lenders, Investors, Government and Underwriting Programs requirements
- Knowledge of all documents used by the Lender in the origination of FHA, VA and Conventional loans
- Computer literate with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access (or equivalent database reporting programs); experience with the ACES Quality Control system highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a low margin of error, and with minimal supervision
- Ability to make independent decisions w/in program and company guidelines
- Perform with a high degree of accuracy
- Cooperative team player

What you'll be doing:

- Underwriting Mortgages for a "world class" client
- Dealing with many Lenders on a number of projects
- Working with the full Microsoft office suite
- Deliver solid work in a timely fashion
