Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Practices occupational therapy under the laws and rules of OT/PT/AT Board of the State of Ohio .   Implements occupational therapy services for patients as appropriate to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, including assessment, treatment, program planning, related documentation, and communication; demonstrates safe and professional behavior as indicated by hospital and department policies; provides education on OT related subjects, hospital personnel, and the community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or Master level graduate from accredited college or university for occupational therapy                                                                                                                                                                                         
• Ability to provide timely patient assessment and plan of care
• Able to demonstrate competency in modalities and therapeutic techniques
• Able to provide teaching and educational material to patient, family, and significant others 

Required Length or Type of Experience

• Preferably one year experience in appropriate clinical area 

Required Licensure, Certification, or Registry

• Licensed by Occupational Therapy Section of the OT/PT/AT Board
