Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Practices occupational therapy under the laws and rules of OT/PT/AT Board of the State of Ohio . Implements occupational therapy services for patients as appropriate to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, including assessment, treatment, program planning, related documentation, and communication; demonstrates safe and professional behavior as indicated by hospital and department policies; provides education on OT related subjects, hospital personnel, and the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or Master level graduate from accredited college or university for occupational therapy
- Ability to provide timely patient assessment and plan of care
- Able to demonstrate competency in modalities and therapeutic techniques
- Able to provide teaching and educational material to patient, family, and significant others
Required Length or Type of Experience
- Preferably one year experience in appropriate clinical area
Required Licensure, Certification, or Registry
- Licensed by Occupational Therapy Section of the OT/PT/AT Board
